Tri State Enterprise has been paving and moving dirt in the tri-state since 1990. The paving division installs and resurfaces asphalt driveways and parking lots, pours concrete drives, aprons, pads and walks, demolishes and hauls off what has already failed, and prepares sites for whatever is going on them next. Kentucky, West Virginia and Ohio winters are hard on pavement: water gets into a poorly drained or poorly based surface, freezes, and lifts it apart. That is why our estimates start underneath — with the base, the grade and where the water goes — before anyone talks about the surface itself. We serve Ashland, Grayson, Huntington and Ironton.

Paving and site work run out of the same division, so clearing a lot, cutting the grade, correcting drainage, hauling in base stone and laying the surface are all scheduled together. Need the base material only? Our landscaping division delivers gravel and stone by the ton across the tri-state.

How paving work runs
The base decides the lifespan
Most failed driveways and lots failed underneath. We look at the existing base, drainage and soil, and price the preparation honestly rather than paving over a problem.
Weather holds are real
Asphalt and concrete need the right temperature and dry ground. Rain and cold move paving dates, and the office tells you the new date instead of leaving you waiting.
Access and cure time
Before the crew arrives you will know when vehicles have to be off the surface and when you can drive on it again. For commercial lots we phase the work to keep the business reachable.
Material off our own trucks
Base stone and gravel come from the same company that runs our excavation and landscaping crews, so site preparation and paving stay on one schedule.
